The Monstera is a reliable choice for most rooms. It tolerates indirect light, grows steadily, and the split leaves arrive already formed. A plant that makes a room feel lived-in.

How much light do these plants need?
Monstera and Snake Plant prefer bright indirect light but manage in medium-light rooms. ZZ Plant is one of the few that genuinely does well in a dim corner. None of our plants want direct sun through glass.
How often should I water?
Snake Plant: twice a month. ZZ Plant: every two to three weeks, less in winter. Monstera: when the top inch of soil is dry, roughly once a week in summer. Always check the soil before watering — the pot size and your room temperature affect the schedule.
What pot size should I choose?
Match the pot diameter to the nursery pot your plant arrives in, or go one size up at most. Too large a pot holds excess moisture and can lead to root rot. Our 15 cm clay pot suits the ZZ Plant and Snake Plant. The 19 cm suits the Monstera in the 17 cm nursery pot.
Do clay pots need any preparation before use?
Soak a new unglazed clay pot in water for an hour before planting. This stops the pot drawing moisture away from the soil immediately after potting. After that first soak, no further preparation is needed.
What if my plant arrives damaged?
Send a photo to our email within 48 hours of delivery. We assess each case and will either send a replacement or issue a refund. A few bent leaves in transit are not damage — the plant recovers quickly once settled.
