Fernhouse started as a single shelf of plants in a small flat. It grew — slowly, like a Snake Plant — into a nursery with a simple rule: only stock what we would keep ourselves.
Every plant we send is healthy, correctly labelled, and packed to arrive that way. We write the care notes ourselves. We answer emails ourselves. We keep the range small because a short list is easier to trust.
Small range
We add a new plant only when we are confident in how it ships and how it grows in a city home.
Straightforward care
We do not overstate how easy or how hard a plant is. The care card tells you what to do.
No filler
No decorative moss, no ribbon, no branded tissue paper. The box is plain and the plant is the point.
